WHO WILL LOOK AFTER YOUR HORSE?

OUR STAFF

 When you arrive at Mote End Farm, you will be introduced to your designated groom who will be there to welcome you and your horse. Each of our Grooms are allocated 6-7 horses and are responsible for  the sole care of those horses, thus ensuring that they get to know each individual horse and it's owner. All of our Grooms are mature, experienced BHS trained, and live on site. Our team is made up of a  tight-knit group of hardworking, dedicated, friendly professionals who take great pride in the care and welfare of your horse. 

 ROSS ALGAR: OUR OFFICIAL TRAINER - Mote End Farm is the home base of  Ross Algar, our official trainer. Ross is a fully qualified BHSII (registered) Instructor and BE    Accredited Trainer. He has many years of experience, training and competing at Advanced Level in Eventing and Dressage. With the completion of our cross country course, this will enable Ross and others to  utilise the full range of quality training facilities we can offer both horse and rider.

We also have a variety of other BHS qualified freelance trainers providing private instruction at Mote End Farm but you are always welcome to bring your own instructor along with proof of their private insurance cover.

ADAM PRESCOTT: FARM MANAGER  - Adam has joined us from The Royal Studs in Hampshire and is now in charge of the management for the facilites at Mote End Farm. He has spent many years working in the horse industry and competing in various 3 day events along with showjumping in Newcommers and Foxhunter with the BSJA.  Adam is in charge of the contracting division of MEF and will also be Show Secretary for forthcoming competitions at Mote End Farm. 

VICTORIA MURRAY: YARD MANAGER  - Victoria (Tor) has been with Mote End Farm for almost 5 years, starting as a groom and working up to now being Yard Manager.  Tor is a keen eventer and keeps her own horse (Just Amber) at Mote End Farm, she is currently competing at British Eventing Pre Novice.  Tor is responsible for the day to day management of the yard and grooms.

MOTE END FARM NEVER SLEEPS – FULL CCTV AND MORE - Security is important to us at Mote End Farm.   Apart from our unique and secluded location tucked away on a private estate, we have a full 24/7 CCTV system covering all entrances,  riding schools, tack room and  the cross country course.   We also have an automated entry/exit gate system which can be accessed only by members and authorised guests.

In addition, all of our staff  live on-site. This assures extra security and peace of mind should any horse require attention after normal opening hours.
